Holding Space is located at 34 Broadway in the Rondout Historic Waterfront District of Kingston, NY.

Accessibility: To access the front entrance, there are three steps from the sidewalk to the door. There is an entrance without stairs, with a slight ramp from the back parking lot. Please call us to let you in from the back.

Bathrooms: Holding Space has one gender neutral bathroom with grab bars & an outward-opening door.

Seating: We currently have two wooden chairs with backs & arms available for seating at all times. There is one backless stool, one macrame chair with a back and no arms, a low-to-the-ground remade lawn chair by Becca Van K, and a pink child-size chair. We have a collection of floor pillows for floor seating. Additionally, fold-up chairs are available for events and workshops.

Parking: there is metered parking up and down Broadway, directly outside of Holding Space. There is a municipal parking lot on Broadway.

Public transportation: The free UCAT bus line has a drop off near Ole Savannah & Mariner’s, down broadway toward the water.

Mask Policy: We do not currently enforce masking during our store hours, but we are happy to accomodate folks who wish to shop in a masked environment. Please call us ahead of your visit so we can meet your accessibility needs. *When our event hosts request a mask required event, we will enforce masking policies during the event. This will be made clear in the event advertising.
